Why did you go to Monique? I started with Monique as I was stuck in a rut of weight gain/dieting and no matter how or what latest diet I tried nothing would hold me accountable or give me a plan to actually eat well within my current lifestyle, focusing on a goal and keeping the weight off. As well as all this give me the tools to look at food differently and make decisions when purchasing foods by reading labels and choosing the best most nutritious option.

How has your health changed since you started with Monique? Mon has helped me turn my health around. I am so much happier and healthier in my body and with my way of eating- I now know how to eat for life. It’s not just a short term weight loss goal but a long term food lifestyle.

Do you make different choices with your food now? Yes absolutely, monique has helped me look at food in a different way. One thing I have learned which has helped me over the years is consistency is key. Having a fridge full of the right food ready to go helps me eat well and nutritiously.

How do you feel about your weight now? I am comfortable in my own skin, I feel happier and healthier and a better version of myself!
Are you cooking more? Yes as well as prepping my fridge weekly with healthy options and fruit/veggies ready to snack on and use in my meals.

e plan my meals ahead of time. It also allows me to have that glass of wine or 2 squares of choc after dinner when I crave something sweet!

Do you read supermarket packaging labels more closely? Yes, Mon equipped me with knowledge early on in the weight loss journey so I was educated and empowered to make my own food choices but I also still to this day use her food guide she gave me in our first consult!

What is your favourite product Monique has suggested for you? I love the simson wraps especially the low carb ones and also love hearts of palm in a salad. Love the sugar free hot choc and freezies in summer!

What is your favourite recipe from Monique’s? Her Mixed Vegetable soup is my all time fav!
